The term Guerilla is easily traced to Guerilla warfare which utilizes atypical tactics to achieve a goal. With Guerilla Yoga I started a new concept in Tilburg. When you are a host providing me a space to teach a yoga class, you get your classes for free. I post the classes together with the exact time, date and location online on my Guerilla Yoga facebook page. In this way students can 'Join' my classes online.
I want to break out of the system and make yoga affordable for everyone everywhere in the city. I am not renting a space, students bring their own mats and props, and locations, dates and times are always open for change. In this way I can keep it as cheap as possible so there is a benefit for everybody!
